🦥 A few things I found this week — chill and give these a read:
Man, the legal landscape in this country is absolutely hilarious sometimes. I was just reading about how two completely identical THC gummies—same exact plant, same exact high—can face two totally different worlds [See the full article on High Times](https://hightimes.com/sponsored/hemp-vs-cannabis-whats-the-difference/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=hemp-vs-cannabis-whats-the-difference). One of them has to go through the whole intense dispensary gauntlet, while the exact same gummy can just be casually shipped right to your front door because of how the federal farm bill defines hemp versus cannabis. As a grower, it just cracks me up how politicians try to draw these arbitrary lines on a plant that doesn't care about their legal definitions. It’s wild that we are still playing these weird word games in 2024.
On a much cooler note, Puffcon is coming up in LA, and while Metro Boomin and Action Bronson are headlining, the real star of the show is the massive lineup of a hundred glass artists they’re bringing in [See the full article on High Times](https://hightimes.com/events/puffcon-block-party-2026/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=puffcon-block-party-2026). I’ve always had massive respect for the glass blowing community—the level of raw talent, creativity, and sheer heat it takes to make those functional pieces of art is unreal. Seeing functional glass art get this kind of massive spotlight next to huge music acts is just beautiful to see.
Are any of you guys making the trip out to LA for Puffcon this year, or are you staying home and ordering "hemp" gummies to your porch? — Internet of Pot
