• User Content: Posts, photos, comments, and messages you submit to the platform.
• Usage Data: Service usage statistics for quota management and service improvement.
• Authentication Data: Google OAuth tokens for login (we do not store your Google password).
• Age & Compliance Data: Your date of birth (collected by the 21+ age gate) and your acceptance of our Terms of Service, including the version accepted and when.
• Safety & Security Data: IP address, a randomly generated device identifier, and records of safety actions (for example, when a link in a message is blocked or when you confirm rights to music in an uploaded video). These exist to keep the community safe and to meet our legal obligations.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication (JWT), and hashed passwords. However, no system is 100% secure.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

Internet of Pot uses browser local storage to store your authentication token for session persistence. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics trackers. No advertising cookies are used.

7. Age Requirement (21+)

Internet of Pot is strictly intended for adults aged 21 and older. We verify age with a date-of-birth gate and record the date of birth you provide on your account as evidence of compliance. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. Declaring an age under 21 is recorded, and repeated under-21 declarations place the account on hold for review. If we become aware that a user is under 21, we will promptly close their account and delete their personal data, retaining only the minimal records the law requires us to keep.

7a. Message Safety Scanning

To protect members from scams, direct messages are automatically scanned for unsafe links and known scam patterns before delivery. Blocked links are withheld from the recipient and retained for review by our safety team. Message scanning exists solely for community safety and legal compliance — message content is never used for advertising or sold to anyone. Administrator access to private messages during an investigation is itself logged.

• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Delete your account at any time.
