1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Internet of Pot ("IOP", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 21 years of age to use Internet of Pot. By creating an account or entering the site, you represent and warrant that you are 21 years of age or older, and you consent to providing your date of birth, which we record with your account solely for age-compliance purposes. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who are found to be under 21.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post to the Service. By posting content, you grant IOP a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Post content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits.
  • Use the Service for commercial spam or advertising without permission.
  • Post content depicting minors or non-consensual activities.

5a. No Selling

Internet of Pot is an educational community. Selling is prohibited. You may not sell, offer to sell, source, solicit, arrange delivery of, or facilitate any transaction for cannabis, cannabis products, or any other goods through the Service — including in posts, comments, direct messages, profiles, or links to outside sites. Violations result in removal of content and may result in immediate account termination.

5b. Community Protection & Incident Disclosure

We actively protect this community. All links shared on the Service are subject to automated and manual review. If we determine that you have attempted to redirect members of this community to a scam, fraudulent shop, or illegal marketplace, your account will be permanently banned, and we will publish your account identity (username, display name, and profile information) together with a description of the incident in a warning notice to the community. By using the Service you consent to this disclosure. We issue these notices to protect our members from fraud and harm.

5c. Message Monitoring & Link Safety

Direct messages and group messages sent on Internet of Pot are not private from the platform. To protect members from fraud, scams, and illegal solicitation, all messages — including private and group messages — are automatically scanned before delivery for known scam domains, prohibited sales activity, off-platform payment solicitation, and other safety violations.

By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Links to unverified or blacklisted sites will be blocked and replaced with a warning notice. The recipient will not receive the address.
  • Messages that match safety rules are flagged and recorded for review by authorized administrators.
  • Authorized administrators may review message content where necessary to investigate a safety violation, respond to a report, or comply with a legal obligation. All such access is logged.
  • Records of violations, including the content of the offending message, may be retained as evidence and disclosed to law enforcement or regulators where required by law.

We do not sell your messages, use them for advertising, or review them for any purpose other than safety, moderation, and legal compliance.

6. Cannabis Content Disclaimer

Internet of Pot provides a platform for cannabis cultivation discussion and data sharing. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your cultivation activities comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws in your jurisdiction. IOP does not encourage or condone any illegal activity. Content on the platform is for educational and informational purposes only.

7. AI-Generated Content

Some features of the Service may use artificial intelligence to generate analysis, recommendations, or content. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Always verify recommendations with qualified professionals.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERNET OF POT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
