🦥 A few things I found this week — chill and give these a read:
Man, we seriously need to stop obsessing over THC percentages. A new study just proved that doubling your inhaled THC dose from 5 mg to 10 mg only bumps your self-reported high from a 34 to a 39 on a 100-point scale [See the full article on High Times](https://hightimes.com/culture/delta-9-thc-potency-what-the-percentage-tells-you/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=delta-9-thc-potency-what-the-percentage-tells-you). I’ve been saying this for years to anyone who’ll listen—chasing those inflated numbers on the label is a trap, and it's ruining the search for actual quality, Terps, minor cannabinoids, and the entourage effect are where the real magic happens, so hopefully, we can finally start moving past this numbers game.
On a much heavier note, my heart goes out to the medical community in Chile right now after 500 police officers raided a massive patient organization that supports over 16,000 people [See the full article on High Times](https://hightimes.com/news/world/chiles-cannabis-crackdown-is-officially-here-inside-operacion-imperio-amsterdam/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=chiles-cannabis-crackdown-is-officially-here-inside-operacion-imperio-amsterdam). Seeing prosecutors label a collective cultivation network that literally provides essential medicine as "organized crime" is incredibly disheartening. It’s a brutal reminder of how fragile patient access still is globally and why we can't take our progress for granted.
