Honestly, this made my week because the original is practically holy scripture for anyone who loves a good laugh after a smoke session. Hearing that the Broken Lizard guys still sit down, light up, and write these scripts with the exact same energy they had twenty years ago is just beautiful. It gives me hope that we’re getting another genuine, hilarious stoner comedy instead of some watered-down studio version trying too hard to be PC. We need that raw, R-rated ridiculousness back on our screens, especially right now. I’m already planning the stash for opening night.
